GreenTRIP connect is an easy-to-use tool that allows anyone to quickly compare the effectiveness and cost of different strategies to reduce car trips, such as offering transit passes or car-share to residents, or separating out the cost of parking spots from rent. CalBike Survey: Californians Don’t Want to Always Have to Drive
A recent survey commissioned by the California Bicycle Coalition found the California voters favor investments in a multi-modal, inclusive transportation system. More than two thirds of the California voters surveyed said they support investing in “complete streets” that are safe for all users, not just people in cars. And nearly half said they believe such investments should be a priority equal to or higher than improving freeways and roads.

ARB Releases Proposed GHG Reduction Goals for Regions
After 2020 California GHG emission reduction goals will become more stringent, and therefore harder to reach. Since transportation is the largest single contributor to GHG emissions, achieving targets requires finding ways to make it easy for people to drive less. But regions say they can't control driving, and they don't have enough money.
