Eyes on the Street: L.A. City adds More Concrete Barrier, Requests Feedback
In August, Streetsblog L.A. first reported on the L.A. City Transportation Department’s (LADOT) new pilot Toronto barriers protecting the Third Street bikeway in downtown L.A.
The concrete-barrier-protected bikeway now extends the entire block, about 300 feet from Spring Street to Main Street. There’s a short mid-block gap to allow firefighter access to a hydrant.
LADOT wants your feedback on the barriers, via an online survey. Submit your input by October 31.
