Governor’s Proposed Budget Takes Back Promised ATP Funding, and Ignores Transit
Newsom's draft CA budget takes into account an estimated $22.5 billion shortfall this year by pulling back some promised funds, including $20 billion from transit and $200 million from the ATP, with potential to restore some of that if tax revenue is higher than expected or federal revenue can backfill.
