OC’s Store-Front Bicycle Co-op Reopens in Santa Ana
The Bicycle Tree in Santa Ana was a victim of its own success, and rapidly running out of room. So it closed in March, to give it time to move to a bigger place. This Saturday it will re-open at its new address, 702 West 17th Street.

Community Groups Showcase Disease Prevention at Orange County Forum
Orange County received $4.1 million from the CDC to support government, education, and nonprofit entities working in Garden Grove, Santa Ana, and Anaheim on disease prevention. The projects that came out of these partnerships ranged from traditional—nutrition education and physical activity promotion—to boldly forward-thinking—funding the installation and design of a bicycle boulevard.

More than thirty cyclists came out to OCTA's Bike Rally Thursday morning at Orange Station. The roughly 3.5-mile route cut through Old Town Orange using side streets and the Santiago River Trail Bike Path.

If it is signed by President Trump, the Garden Grove-to-Santa Ana streetcar project would receive $50 million from the federal New Starts program, which faces an uncertain future under the current administration.
