This year’s Giving Tuesday is serving as the kickoff for our End of the Year fundraising drive for all the Streetsblog sites in California. Streetsblog California raises about half of its annual revenue through small donations from our readers. This year, we cancelled many of our fundraising events because of COVID 19, but are hoping to make up the difference in the next month and raise $50,000 from across the state of California to support Streetsblog California, Streetsblog Los Angeles, and Streetsblog San Francisco.

"So, the lessons from Measure RR are that public agency led vision and outreach, multiple stakeholders working together with a public owner and broad coalition working to get the measure passed are going to work best to get measures passed."

Everyone is talking about the results from this week's election, and SGV Connect is no different. Our usual team brought back Streetsblog LA editor Joe Linton and Streetsblog California editor Melanie Curry for an in-depth election special that is almost twice the size of a regular episode.
